After successful registration, the birthday coupon will be sent to the email address stored in the customer account.
Sending the birthday emails
This option can be used to deactivate the sending of emails. However, customers can still register for the birthday coupon (if the “Birthday coupon” module is activated).
Scheduler start time
The start time for sending emails can be set here.
Send first coupon to a customer after “x” days after registration date
Specify here how many days a customer must be registered for the birthday coupon before the coupon is sent.
Send email “x” days before birthday
Here you can specify how many days before the customer’s birthday the coupon should be sent. If you enter “0”, the coupon will be sent on the customer’s birthday.
Birthday on 29 February in a non-leap year
Specify here when people with a birthday on February 29 on a non-leap year will receive the birthday coupon.

In this area, you can customize the text of the email. You can use the corresponding placeholders to display relevant information in the text.
Placeholders
You can use the following placeholders for the settings in this section:
{site-title}, {site-address}, {site-shop-address}, {customer-first-name}, {customer-last-name}, {user-display-name}, {coupon-code}, {coupon-amount}, {coupon-expires-in-x-days}, {coupon-expiry-date}, {coupon-minimum-amount}.
If {customer-first-name} is empty, {user-display-name} will be used. This can happen if your user has not made an order, yet.

Email subject
Modify the subject of the email here.

You can customize the content of the email in this field.
Tip: You can also use HTML for formatting.
Email footer
Here you can enter the email footer text.
Tip: You can use the placeholders [link][/link] to add a link to the “My Account” page (edit-profile). There, customers can deactivate their subscription for the birthday coupon list.
