Coupons

The module “Birthday coupon” uses the coupon function of WooCommerce.
Coupons are created via WooCommerce and sent to customers via the “Birthday coupon” module. You can define the discount type, the coupon amount, the validity period and the minimum order value.

Attention: Changes in this area only affect coupons created in the future. For coupons that have already been created (even if they have not yet been redeemed), the conditions at the time of their creation always apply.

Discount type
The discount type determines whether a “Fixed cart discount” or a “Percentage discount” is granted.

Coupon amount
The coupon amount determines the value for the “Fixed cart discount” or the number of percent of the “Percentage discount”.

Example: The entry of 10 corresponds to a discount of 10 dollars for the “Fixed cart discount” and 10% for the “Percentage discount” on the cart value.

Days after the birthday after which the coupon expires
Here you specify how many days after the birthday the coupon is valid. If you enter “0”, there is no time limit for the coupon.

Minimum spend
Specify the minimum order value required to apply the coupon.
