Permalink Content Blocker
The Content Blocker allows you to block external content (oEmbeds, iFrames) e.g. from YouTube, social media posts or Google Maps until the user has agreed to view them.
Using the templates, you can load preconfigured data from the most important providers into the Content Blocker.
- Google reCAPTCHA
- Google Maps
You can activate or deactivate the content blocker via a slider.
Name of the content blocker.
Tip: If the same name is used for the content blocker and the cookie/script, then when consent is given in the cookie banner, the provider’s cookie is simultaneously stored in the browser and the provider’s content on the website is unblocked.
The domain(s) in this field are used to identify the content to be blocked.
If there are multiple domains, they are separated by a comma.
With the Content Blocker function, embedded content (oEmbeds & iFrames) from third-party providers can be blocked until the user explicitly agrees to the display. If the content is not blocked automatically, the generated shortcode can be used.
If, for example, a shortcode for Google Maps has been created, it can be placed at different locations on the website, wherever a Google Map is to be displayed. If different maps are to be displayed, simply change the URL.
Additionally, a URL in the shortcode can be used to convert the URL into a protected iFrame.
Converting the URL to an iFrame works for the following providers:
