Create voucher templates
Permalink Create voucher templates
The templates for your vouchers can be created in the menu “WooCommerce -> Voucher Templates (Printy Coupons)”.
A sample template is available when the plugin is first installed:
If you want to create a new template, click on the “Create voucher template” button here to access the template mode.
Permalink First steps
First, you can assign a title for your voucher template and select a thumbnail image:
The thumbnail image is displayed on the product page of the voucher to which the template has been assigned, for example:

You can insert the product image itself (left) directly into the product, see: “Create voucher product”.
Once all the basic settings have been made, the template can be saved (using “Update”):

You can now preview the voucher with sample texts in the “Template” area.
Please note: The changes to the template are only visible after saving.
Permalink Settings
The individual fields that are available for the voucher can be customized and shown or hidden in the “Settings” area.
General

POS-Voucher Template:
If this option is activated, the template can be used for the “POS-Vouchers” (Point of Sale) area, i.e. your local store. You can find more information about this area in our documentation here.
Width & height:
Determine the dimensions of your voucher in millimetres.
Image selection:

Other settings
In the areas “Sender”, “Recipient”, ‘Message’, “Purchase date”, “Voucher value”, “Voucher code”, “Validity” and “Barcode”, the respective output can be individualized (position, font, etc.) or hidden if not required (depending on the option). If a field is declared as a required field (depending on the option), it must be filled in on the product page. You can also enter a default value for the “Message” field, which is already pre-filled in the “Message” field on the product page. In addition, there is the option to set individual texts before the generated content (prefix) or text after the generated content (suffix).
Example in the case of the sender: Here we set the prefix “From: ”

This will then be printed on the voucher before the sender’s name:
